The Ladies of Harley and the Powder Keg HOG chapter will be on-site raising awareness for Wreaths Across America, an organization devoted to coordinating annual wreath laying ceremonies on veteran’s graves all across the country and abroad.
Every year on December 17th, Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea, and abroad. Wreaths are hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow in Columbia Falls, Maine. Wreaths are then sent to one of WAA's participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on a marker of a fallen hero. The volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service and sacrifice of that veteran will never be forgotten.
